To the Moms of Graduates
As it warms up (I say that tongue-in-cheek because the radio station is proclaiming a winter advisory for tonight – the fist night of Spring), people are either thinking about two things: Spring break or gardening. Unless you’re the parent of a graduate! And then all you can think about is how you’ll pull off a graduation party in just a couple of months! How will you use all of the great senior photos that you got? I think of my poor parents – parents of twins, and my dad is a hobby photographer – they had soooo many photos…. We joked about the “shrine” that was set up at our graduation party to accommodate TWO graduates whose lives to that point were well documented!
Well… as always I’ve had some ideas! Here is a Pinterest board for Graduation Parties I started with ideas that I LOVE! They include decorations, refreshments, and gifts (because if you have a senior, chances are you’ll have to find a lot of gifts for all their friends who are also seniors).
Ready for my next big idea?
When I graduated I had a memory book that I could fill out and put pictures in. We left it out on a display table for guests to flip through at my graduation party. For the life of me I can’t find one of those now, so I adapted my Family Journal to make a Senior Photo Book – it is guest book/memory book/photo book all-in-one keepsake-genius-book! A preview video is below (it’s less than a minute). A HUGE shout out to Morgan, the gorgeous girl in all the photos!
The turnaround for this book is 3-4 weeks, which is why I’m giving you such advance notice. If you know a senior who hasn’t had their photos take yet, this book will be at a 20% discount in April. I love referrals, so send them my way!
Happy planning, and let me know if I can help!
