The Perfect Saturday

Who says winter isn’t a time to take photos?  If you’ve ever heard of “lifestyle photography” and thought it was for avid fishermen, think again!  Looking at the photos of this family’s Saturday morning make me want to grab my family and unplug for a day!

When I called the mom to talk about the idea for this session, she profiled each of her kids for me – big brother… tomboy sister… and they each asked for another brother, so hence the dog!  Knowing that he was as much a part of the family as the human members, I made sure to show how included he was in the family activities.  Oh, and one of my favorite parts of the morning was witnessing tomboy sister choosing to get her nails painted while big brother practiced the piano with his dad.  Immediately after that?  She choose to read Marvel’s Avengers!
