Tall and Handsome

Fall ushers in my marriage anniversary, and I still remember like it was yesterday this guy getting ushered into my wedding – in a stroller!  And now the kid I could put on my lap towers over me.  Granted, I’m a space efficient gal, but gracious he’s tall!  Thank goodness for step ladders and hills!

What impressed me more than his height, though, is his quiet assuredness.  He has looked life square in the eye and said, “Why, yes I can, thank you.”  His mind can figure out how almost anything is put together, and his heart has enormous capacity for compassion.  He is keenly aware of people, fantastic taste in food, and a witty ornery streak.  Thank you, to all his family that has surrounded him and cheered him on!
