Being a grandparent is sometimes tough – at least when it comes to gift giving. The weekly store ads can be intimidating with 3-5 different kinds of gaming systems and dolls that look like they may not have the most altruistic motives. Let me encourage you to take a step back and remember why you’re giving gifts to your grandkids – you want them to remember how much you love them!
Gift giving can be a way you continue to build a relationship with your grandkids, and building a relationship means letting them get to know you as much as you get to know them. Following are some ideas I found for great gifts that will last a little longer than tearing the wrapping paper off and can help build some common ground for your relationship!
